Our thoughts...

Just One Year is a cute slow burn that will keep you turning the page if you’re a YA fan. Both Caleb and Teagans characters are fun and well written. JOY is full of first love feels. OMG this cover!!

Caleb is the handsome caring international exchange student with a heart of gold, who will be spending the year living with the Carroll’s in Boston, MA. Teagan is smart, funny and loyal if you can just get beneath the wall that she puts up.

Hmm, I might be in the minority here, but this was my least favorite Penelope Ward book. So many of her books blow me away, have my full attention within a few pages this book left me wanting. I will admit YA is not my favorite genre, but PW never lets me down.

This book just didn’t to it for me BUT that is ok! Not every book is, there was too much sitting around not doing anything. I like a bit more jazz in my books.  I don’t want to say drama because there can be too much of that as well.

If you a YA fan, one-click this book. You’ll love it.
