Our thoughts...
It has been a while since I have read a book by Willow Winters. The blurb for Tequila Rose had me wanting to get my hands on it. This is my kind of story.
Title: The Rake Series: Boston Belles #4 Author: L. J. Shen Genre: Contemporary Romance Publisher: L. J. Shen Pub Date: February 16, 2022 Rating: 4 Stars
Our thoughts...
I am sad this series is over. I enjoyed Devon and Emmabelle’s story. These two had some chemistry and at times brought the angst. I am huge fan of that.
The Rake is the final book
in the Boston Belle’s series. I enjoyed Devon and Emmabelle’s story, told in
dual perspectives with past/present chapters. We were able to see how their
situations changed them into the adults there are today.
Title: A Chance for Us Series: Willow Creek Valley #4 Author: Corrine Michaels Genre: Contemporary Romance Publisher: Corrine Michaels Pub Date: February 8, 2022 Rating: 5 Stars
Our thoughts...
I’m so sad this series is over but I’m glad it ended with Oliver. One of my favorite troupes is fake relationship/marriage. A Chance for Us was exactly what I needed.

I was never supposed to see him again. π»ππ being the man wearing the perfectly tailored suit who oozed an intoxicating mixture of wealth, rebellion, and sex appeal.
One night.
No strings.
No names.
πΊππππ‘ sex.
Still riding the high from last night, I walk in to meet my new client, and he’s wearing that same dangerous smirk that reeled me in hours ago.
Yes, I’m consulting for Callahan Sharpe. And π¦ππ , he’s π‘βππ‘ Callahan Sharpe.
Billionaire heir apparent who abides by no rules, bucks convention, and is determined to complete one final project to honor his late father’s legacy before walking away from the family business for good. Luckily and unluckily for me, I’ve been tasked to go to the Virgin Islands to help accomplish his goal. Callahan has no problem breaking his company’s no fraternization rule, but not me. There’s too much at stake.
What could possibly go wrong when you’re forced to work—πππ πππ£π—side by side with a man you can’t resist?
New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can't help to love.
A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow and her mind scattered in too many different directions.
Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over one and a half million copies of her books across eighteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by the streaming platform, Passionflix, with the first movie (Driven) out now.
With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero. My father's dying wish was to walk me down the aisle, and I'd do anything for him.
Even marry a man I don't love.
So when my fiance jilts me only days before the ceremony, I turn to my college friend, Oliver Parkerson, and convince him to marry me.
My family hasn't met either man, so I'm confident we can pull this off.
But the feelings, our touches, the way my heart beats for him... none of it feels pretend. The way he holds me at night and carries me through loss tells me he's not acting either.
I didn't mean to fall for my fake husband, but real love was the one thing I couldn't predict.
Except, nothing built on lies can last--I know that better than anyone.
But the truth might tear us apart forever.

Small Town Big Rumors by Willow Winters is now live!
He tasted like tequila and the fake name I gave him was Rose.
Four years ago, I decided to get over one man, by getting under another. A single night and nothing more.
I found my handsome stranger with a shot glass and charming but devilish smile at the end of the bar. The desire that hit his eyes the second they landed on me ignited a spark inside me, instant and hot. He was perfect and everything I didn't know I needed. That one night may have ended, but I left with much more than a memory.
Four years later, and with a three-year-old in tow, the man I still dream about is staring at me from across the street in the town I grew up in. I don't miss the flash of recognition, or the heat in his gaze.
The chemistry is still there, even after all these years.
I just hope the secrets and regrets don't destroy our second chance before it's even begun.

I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day -- sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?
I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It's insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.
And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I'll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a reader and it motivates me to push through and keep writing. I couldn't be more grateful for this wonderful career.
