I really wanted to love this one but it fell flat.

When I look at this cover I think badass alpha, and the reality of it was the opposite for me.

Our thoughts...

Jane Childs was kidnapped in front of her home and held against her will for 10 years.  This is her story.  Her story of being lost and becoming found.  In this book you read about her struggle to come back into a life that she was taken from.  It was a happy life that she spent with an amazing boyfriend and a wonderful family but she is broken.  Can she recover and find that happiness again?  Can she fix all of the things that are broken?  You will have to read it to find out and you won’t be disappointed, this was a great story.

Our thoughts...

Embracing ~ Familiar ~ Peace
Let me start by saying if you have not read all of the books in the Original Sinners series DO NOT read this. This is strictly for those who know the story because there is a lot of back story. With that being said, if you have read the entire series (thus far) you will LOVE The Confessions. These stories are like a warm embrace from an old friend or a blanket fresh out of the dryer. They will bring comfort and joy while giving a little more insight into tales we are familiar with. This is also more of a novella.

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Our thoughts...

Porn Star was not what I was expecting it to be. If I am being completely honest it was let down. With a cover like that and the two talented authors that co-wrote this book, I expected more.

Blog Tour: Porn Star by Laurelin Paige & Sierra Simone

PS TOUR BANNER.jpg

Synopsis:

You know me.
Come on, you know you do.
Maybe you pretend you don’t. Maybe you clear your browser history religiously. Maybe you pretend to be aghast whenever someone even mentions the word porn in your presence.
But the truth is that you do know me.
Everybody knows Logan O’Toole, world famous porn star.
Except then Devi Dare pops into my world, and pretty soon I’m doing things that aren’t like me—like texting her with flirty banter and creating an entire web porn series just so I can get to star in her bed. Again. And again.
With Devi, my entire universe shifts, and the more time I spend with her, the more I realize that Logan O’Toole isn’t the guy I thought he was.
So maybe I'm not the guy you thought I was either.

Our thoughts...

This was my first book by this author and I LOVED it! Didn’t even read the blurb, went right in and really fell in love with this author!  This book takes place in Boston and surrounds the Irish mob and gangsters.   Sparrow is somewhat forced to marry “the fixer”, Troy Brennan.  I don’t want to give anything away but you have to read to find out why she had to marry Troy.
