Our thoughts...

This is another solid showing by Karina Halle in the contemporary romance department. I appreciate how her characters deviate from the typical people we read about. Take Nicola Price, The Offer’s leading lady, for example. She’s a single mother working hard to provide for her little girl at all costs. She isn’t whiny, she isn’t selfish, and she isn’t blaming the world. She is strong, passionate, intelligent, and on a mission to raise her girl the right way. Halle’s characters tend to be flawed and aware which makes them easy to relate to.

Cruelty, Heartbreaking, Happy ending

I have wanted to read this book for a very long time and I’m so glad that I finally picked it up and started reading.  I was thrown off by the warning and a little nervous about the heavy material.  However, the cover just grabbed me.  This was just a beautifully written story.  The situations and experiences that Nicole goes through are so heartbreaking.

Slut, is book two of the Two Duo series by Jettie Woodruff.  I really enjoyed this book.  It really held my attention and I couldn't turn the page fast enough.  There were so many questions that needed answered after reading book one that I was not patiently waiting for this to come!  Many if not all of these questions were answered for me.

I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I love Aleatha’s writing. Tony (Consequences Series) is one of my all time favorite characters. That being said, Nox is quickly taking over his spot!

Second Chance~ Heartbreak~ Soul Mates

There is a lot a back and forth in this book. Not in the sense of ‘Do I or Don’t I love him/her’, but more so in the ‘can we make it work and will we catch a break.’ I loved Chad in Bereft and I was disappointed that Rachel went back to Grayson. I fully understand why Chad made that decision for her; but was it the right one for both of them?

Synopsis
Ten years ago I fell in love with a married woman. I walked away so she could be happy, moving across the country to make sure I put space between us. We severed ties, and I promised myself I wouldn't look back.
Since then I committed to someone else, and we have a child and a life many would wish for. Except, it's never been enough for me. There's always been something missing; something I never wanted to admit.
With my own marriage failing, I'm forced to go back to my hometown to bury the man who raised me. I never expected to see her there, and nothing could prepare me for what would happen the moment my arms wrapped around hers again.
