Our thoughts...

                 Love ~ Devotion ~ Friendship

Mariah Dietz is one of my go to authors since reading her first book. I fell in love with the cover of this amazing book as well as the story. This is a story that pulls you in from the beginning to end.  Of two people finding each other.

“We have to know sad in order to know happy, pain in order to feel pleasure, fear to teach us safety.”

Lo is an art student in college who meets the ever-mysterious “boy” at a party with her roommate.  There’s an instant attraction that neither can deny. But when Lo wakes the next day she can’t remember his name only his eyes.

King is someone girls want because of who he is. For once he wants someone to want him for him. He’s mysterious, aggravating and romantic at the same time.

“I love your passion. Your passion to be right. Your passion to be independent. Your passion to help others. Your passion for art.”

There’s a slow build up to Lo and King’s relationship, which Mariah does a fantastic job with. We really get to know the characters and see what struggles they have. Beautifully written, I can’t wait for more from this author
