Our thoughts...
I've been looking forward to Scottie's book since Idol. He was a huge puzzle to me and I love a good asshole turned hero book.
Scottie is the band's manager. He is really high strung and never takes a break. His stress causes him to have some intense issues including fear of flying and not sleeping well.
Sophie is a whirlwind of energy and snark. When they meet on a plane their lives changed.
What worked for me in this book was the sense of family. I loved getting more from the band and seeing their personalities.
Also when Scottie finally let down his shield he actually had a sense of humor and had actual feelings.
What didn't work for me was the sexual tension and slow build. I found myself yelling " just go ahead and bone already!" at my kindle. It took forever.
Also their nicknames for each other were a little juvenile for my taste.
I think people who love a slow burn and a redeemed jerk will like this one!
