Candace Knoebel is a new to me author. When I read the blurb for Ten Reasons to Stay I new I needed to read this book. I love a good love triangle, I love cheating (or in TRTS permission to sleep with someone else). I want to have my heart ripped out. I want to be torn between  two men. I want it to feel as if I am making this decision.

That being said; I’m on the fence about this book. There was so much promise in this story-line, but I felt that the story itself just fell flat. I wanted angst, I wanted to be pulled between the two men. I wanted my heart ripped out. I wanted this decision to be difficult. Instead I knew in the first chapter that I didn’t like Jack, that I never would. I knew that Cole was going to be my guy in this book. All that is fine, really but as the story continued I still felt nothing. 

I’m not sure if I will read the follow up book in the Risky Hearts Duet Five Reasons to Go. I’m afraid this will be a retelling of the first book but from Jacks POV.

Like I said above this story had promise but just fell flat IMO.
