I always get excited when one of my favorite authors has a new book coming out.
This was a heartwarming story I could not put down. I loved Annalise and Bennett. They were thrown together both fighting for a job they wanted. Annalise had a rough start to her day when she first met Bennett and things only got worse as the day went on. She is good at her job and loves what she does, she isn’t letting her job go without a fight.
Bennett has made a name for himself. He does not let people get close he thinks he doesn’t deserve it. Annalise slowly starts to chip away at Bennett’s armor he surrounds himself with.
This book had the perfect amount of banter and chemistry. You will laugh and you will feel for the characters. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it.
