Our thoughts...

Resurrection of the Heart picks up right where Reparation of Sin left off. Ivy is gone and Santiago is desperate to get her back. I have said this from the very beginning but, I really do love me some Santi! He is my favorite monster.

“She is in love with me…and I am helpless to it."

My favorite part of this book is Santiago. You can say that he has been my favorite part of the trilogy from the beginning, and you would not be wrong. In this book we see a different side of him one that I believe, we all knew existed.

“I chose you. I chose you over her, Ivy. I chose our family.”

I absolutely loved Eva in this book. Her relationship with Santiago melted my heart. I laughed, I had tears in my eyes. My heart was so completely full when watching them interact and grow.

“I could have gone back too, but I chose to stay with Santiago. He needs me more than they do.”

This trilogy is a solid 4.5 stars. I only reason we lost half a star is because I had a good chunk of the plot figured out at the end of book 1. I was hoping for a bit more shock and awe.

Seriously, one-click this trilogy and fall in love with Sanit. I am extremely sad to see these characters go. I really hope that Mercedes (there is more to her story AND Judge…. EEK) and Eva (just because I want to see Santi lose his mind with a teenage girl and all the boys… LOL) get a book of their own purely in hopes of getting more Ivy and Santi!

Read it!
