Our thoughts...
I loved this book, as per my usually with Ms. Ward’s
writing! I am also a sucker for little old men; so, there’s that. The older Mr.
Serrano had me sold with his first adventure with his grandson.
The Assignment
is told in dual points of view. I loved both Aspyn and Troy’s characters. A lesson
about forgiveness and second chances. This isn’t an ista-love book. I truly loved
to watch their friendship grow and evolve into more.
Both Aspyn and Troy are human, they have their own flaws
and baggage. They are both determined and driven. This is an enemy to friends/loves
read and the past between these two is laugh out loud funny. Don’t worry there
are plenty of sweet and spicy moments to.
A must read!
