Emotionally charged. I couldn’t stop reading this book, and when I did all I wanted to do was finish Helena’s story. It’s like roller coaster ride where once you get off all you want to do is get back on again experiencing pure highs and pure lows.

I was very lucky to be able to read this book early!  I am a huge fan of Montes’ and have really enjoyed other books by this author.  I really enjoyed this book.  It was a very different story line for me, one that I don’t think I’ve read before and that was so refreshing.

I want to tell you all about Break Even but I can’t. Grrr!!! The hardest part about writing a review is not giving the secrets away, but I can tell you this…I couldn’t stop reading it. I was totally consumed by these characters and their story.

I LOVE student/teacher books!  Some of them are my favorite reads of all time.  I do not know how I missed this one?  I freaking loved it!!! This was the definition of a great student/teacher novel.  I’m still kicking myself for not knowing about this book for as long as I did.  Thank you to my book friends for the suggestion!
