This was a one sitting read for me. I devoured this book and loved every minute of it. I love a good friends to lovers book. Penelope Ward has a way with telling a story. She is able to pull me in from the first page.
Amber had two best friends that happened to be boys. As they got older the boys started noticing Amber and they decided neither of them would date her. Things changed when Channing went off to college.
Amber and Rory started dating in college. Once Channing found out he started distancing himself. Now nine years later Amber is single and Channing is coming to stay with her while he’s in town working.
The chemistry between these two was HOT! Will they be just a fling or will they make a go at a real relationship?
This book had some twists I didn’t see coming. It was hard for me at one point to decide who I liked best Amber. That didn’t last long though. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it.
