Our thoughts...
This is my first book by this author and it won’t be my
last. I love her writing style and can’t wait to read more of her work.
I loved these characters and how complex they
were. Life was hard for them in different ways. This story kept me glued to
pages and wanting to turn the pages faster than I was ready. This was the
perfect story of first love with just the right amount of angst
This is a story about forbidden love in a small town. Evie
and Able’s love was pure and something we all dream of finding. The town is not
happy when Able comes to live with his uncle. He is considered a monster in
their eyes. The town is very close-minded.
Evie is bound and determined to be with Able no matter what.
Her mom has told her she is to stay away from him and has people watching to
make sure she does. All Able wants to do is fit in and take pictures. These two
loved each other so much they won’t let anything tear them apart.
