I’m not quite sure how it happened so fast. One word can describe this novel for me. Turmoil. Complete Turmoil. The. Entire. Time. One minute my heart was in my throat the next it was in my stomach. I didn’t know if I wanted it to stop beating or continue. Crazy.

A few times a year I pick up a great novel, and I will admit to you reader that I am a huge cover snob. I always go through the book section at my local Target, and low and behold this cover whispered sweet nothings. It’s stunning. It’s dark. It’s oh so lovely. I didn’t even read the blurb till I got home. I just had to have this.  During the holidays when I have a spare moment or two I try to read what I can as time permits. It’s quite a long read, and as with any Fantasy I dive into I have to take my time or I will get all confused, and have to go back. Well in this day and age I don’t have a chance to go back. I don’t even know where to begin, but I know where I end. This novel was excellent. The highs and lows were incredible. It’s been awhile since I have stayed up till wee hours in the morning reading a gem like this. I am now one hundred percent a fan of Penelope Douglas.

Colleen Hoover did it once again! She wrote such an emotional and powerful book again.  I really do not know how this author does it.  I haven’t really read a book by her that I haven’t loved.  Colleen’s characters are the type that you just never forget.  They stay with you forever and you never forget about them.  All of those things and more can be said about November 9.
