Overruled is full of the humor many readers have come to anticipate from Emma Chase. One of my favorite things about her writing is how her male voices so closely sync up with the guys I know. They don’t read like a woman writing a man, sounding off and slightly more endearing than is realistic. Instead, the men feel like guys we all know and love, speaking like we would expect them to. Chase’s male characters are more authentic and less fairytale.

Flawed~Second chance~Adoration

Wow! The books in this series keep getting better!  As you can see on the cover this is a story about unfinished love.  High school lovers that were separated and you are left to wonder if they will make it back to each other.  I don’t want to give anything away in this review because I hate that but I will say that in the end you will be happy.
The books in this series can be read as standalones as well.  It was nice to hear from all the other characters from book one.  You meet Alexandra from book one and she was a little mysterious with what was going on in her life.  You get to be in her head this whole book and hear about her heartbreaking but beautiful story.  This is a second chance love story at its best.  J.A.’s writing is beautiful.  The way she writes her characters is almost real life.

I highly recommend this book.  If you are a fan of second chance romance this one is for you.  If you want to read about flawed characters that are so lovable you want to jump into the pages, this one is for you.  I can’t wait to continue to read this series.  The covers are just gorgeous and the writing just sucks you right in. My only complaint would be that I wanted to read more about Alex and West. 4.5 stunning stars.

Soul mates, Victory, Athletic

I am going to start by saying I have been in a huge book funk and thankfully this book pulled me right out of it!   I loved it!  I loved O’Connell and I loved Em.   I loved all of the secondary characters.  I just didn’t want to put it down.  I would come right home from work, grab my kindle and read until I fell asleep.
