I really like this authors books but for some reason this one just didn’t do it for me. There were parts I really enjoyed and others where I wasn’t sure what was going on. I absolutely love the cover and the blurb for this book. For someone like me who hasn’t read the His series I was a little lost. There were many characters that I couldn’t figure out who they were. For those who have read this series will love this book. They will be able to follow along better than I was.
I can’t wait for more work from this author. I have read some of her other books and absolutely loved them.

I thought I really enjoyed this one, I really did. But then I tried to participate in a conversation regarding the book and I was not able to support that opinion, which shocked me. So I went back to my notes and realized I was a little too blinded by my love for the authors and the other books in the series and I fooled myself into thinking it was love.
