Hilarious ~ Charming ~ Fun

I’m only going to say this once. It’s something I have never said in my entire life. This book made me LOL. That’s right folks, I said it. I laughed out loud in that spontaneous “I don’t care who is around” kind of way. Multiple times. And it garnered some sideways glances.

Check out these names, Jeremy McQueen and Phoebe St. Claire... with names like that this book was destined to be amazing.  Jeremy and Phoebe crossed paths at a young age when they didn’t care about anything but how they felt when they were around each other. Phoebe was a liar, and Jeremy was an angry teenager just looking to get back at the world Phoebe existed in. From the age, anger, and lies their young relationship faced, it was best things ended the way they did…..

Men ~ Choices ~ Redemption

Gold picks up right where Diamonds left off.  Bryna “Bri” Turner is off to Nevada State University to cheer and follow in her parents footsteps. She hopes to leave behind the disaster of senior year. Bri hides behind a carefully crafted mask. She wants everyone to believe that she has no heart; she doesn’t need anything but money. She will “dig” and she doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her.  Truth be told, Bri does have a heart and she does care about people’s opinions of her. It takes the friendship of a certain guy to make her realize that.

Boy, oh boy, are there lots of love interests for Bri in this book.  There was one guy I wanted her with, one who I didn’t want to get hurt, two that I wanted her to stick it to (boy are those two assholes), and one that was a place filler in my mind, until she was ready to see the truth.

K.A. Linde doesn’t disappoint in this book. You have the multiple love interests, the angst, the “what are you thinking?” moments, and finally the perfect ending! I gave this book 4.5 stars and here is why: I wanted more and less of some aspects. I am just not exactly sure what those aspects are exactly. Maybe I shouldn’t rate book on my wants, but #sorrynotsorry, I love K.A. Linde’s writing. I want to see what Bri does next, how life continues for her and her love. I’m hoping that we will see more of Bri and her choice in the next two books. Gold is technically a stand alone, but I would recommend reading Diamonds first to get the back story on what lead to Bri’s “digging”, her fall and ultimately her rise!

Release Blitz: Gold by K.A. Linde

 Synopsis

The prey becomes the predator.

Love. That cursed four-letter word no longer belongs in Bryna’s vocabulary. The only four-letter word she knows now is gold.

…and fuck.

She’s well acquainted with that one. And that’s exactly what she plans to do. She’s no longer the golden girl, and when she meets a businessman who promises everything she could ever want from the arrangement, she intends to get her money’s worth.

Follow the conclusion to Bryna’s gold digging story in this scandalizing, duplicitous second book to the USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde’s All That Glitters series.

Enthralling ~ Romantic ~ Courageous

I was first introduced to K.A. Tucker and this series with book number 2, Becoming Rain, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Tucker’s storytelling has a unique feel to it. It isn’t out there, shocking, or crazy, but there is just something so ensnaring and enjoyable that keeps me coming back for more. I love how she blends and balances suspense with romance to deliver a story that captivates and delights.
