It has been a long time since I have read a good mafia book. Claire Contreras delivered with Because You’re Mine. I really loved this book and the fact that one of the main characters is a ballet dancer.

Our thoughts...

I loved this series and all the characters. With a Twist is about Lilly and West who have been friends forever. Their story was sweet and the perfect friends to lovers story. Chaser book 2 about Maggi and Cooper. He is the secret guy she has been seeing and isn’t sure if it will work out.  She isn’t ready for anything but a no strings secret hookup. Last Call is book 3 about Patrick and Rose. Their story was full of ups and downs and has you rooting for them.

This series is so good and I highly recommend it. If you loved the show Friends you will like this series. Reading this series made me think of that show because of bing in New York and the friendships they have.

Our thoughts...

I am still reeling a little from this book and not sure exactly how I feel. I was so excited for this book after reading The Upside of Falling. I absolutely loved that book. The writing was phenomenal and I will admit I was very nervous after reading the blurb.

I don’t want to give anything away but I will say this book was full of surprises, some I liked and others I wasn’t so sure about. I loved the characters and getting to know more about them
