Love in Lingerie is an enjoyable read about a woman who goes to work for a man who owns a floundering lingerie company. They become fast friends, fighting the urge to become more. The book spans over several years so don’t expect anything quick to happen. This is a slow ride, meant to tease and cause you to become invested in the characters.

I believe that I am in the minority among my blogging friends. This wasn’t a 5 star read for me. I do enjoy a good love/hate book but I found Vicious to be overly mean and Emilia to be a pushover. That being said the book was a 4 star read.

Our thoughts...

Epic ending to an epic series. As some of you may have noticed I attended Fevercon with around 600 Moning Maniacs last weekend. It was an experience of a lifetime. I have been to signings before, but this one was completely bad ass. Everyone I met was just as nice as they could be. Pleasant to be around, and just chat about books in general.
If you are familiar with the Fever world, then you know all about Chester’s. The infamous night club owned by our very own Ryodan himself. It was recreated in New Orleans at a warehouse, and it was probably the most fun I have had in a long time. Imagine an old warehouse with chandeliers, bars on every level, tarot readings and tattoo services in the corners. There were costume contests for different characters in the books, dancing and getting to hang out and take pictures with Karen herself. The vibe was strong.
The signing concluded on Sunday. I was anxious to get Feversong early. I was slightly terrified I would read it too fast and then be empty and hungover for days. Well, Don’t worry my pretty’s there will be a Dani story to finish up Fever world next year! Yep, that’s right. I thought we were going to be permanently done with her too, but alas Karen assured in the Q&A the next Fever world book will be Dani. EEP!
Now for my review and pictures below.

I love a good love triangle. The more angst and cheating involved the better for me. We were left hanging at the end of Neighbors. I honestly didn’t know who I wanted her to choose; would Wulf and Liam be able to redeem themselves enough to have a real relationship? Did they even really want a real relationship? Or was this just a game to one up the other?

The ending of the first book left us wondering who would end of with Katya. I wasn’t sure which one I was pulling for but was glad to finally find out.

I love, love triangles and all the angst they bring to a story. I think I went into this with such high hopes since I loved the first one. There were parts I loved and parts I didn’t.  I got frustrated with Katya and the way she acted. Yes they all knew going into this what she was doing.

If you loved the first one and want to know the conclusion grab this book. It’s a fast read.

Fidelity was PERFECT! Not many authors can keep readers wanting more especially when the series is five books long, Aleatha is one of the few in my opinion. I wouldn’t change a thing, she gave these characters exactly what they needed and I LOVED it!
