Ashley's Review: The Impossible Vastness of Us by Samantha Young
Author: Samantha Young
Genre: Young Adult
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Pub Date: June 27, 2017
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Our thoughts...
I keep asking myself why I don’t read more YA books. I loved
this one and the characters. This is so different from anything Samantha Young
has ever written and I loved it.
India and her mom don’t have the best relationship. Her
father abandoned her and she hasn’t gotten other that. She has built up walls
to protect herself and became popular at school to keep others from learning
about her past. So when Hayley says she’s
moving them to Boston so can get married India is not exited.
It’s hard to say a lot about this book without giving anything
away. This is a story you don’t want to miss. I loved the characters and can’t stop
thinking about them. This is a story about young love and the struggles we go through
in life.

We finally have the conclusion to Scout and Easton's story. I have been anxiously waiting for The Catch to come out. It was pure perfection from beginning to end.
Jenny's Review, Giveaway, & Excerpt: Until It Fades by KA Tucker
Author: KA Tucker
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Atria
Pub Date: June 27, 2017
Rating: 5 Stars
Our thoughts...
I enjoyed this story so much that I read it twice before reviewing. KA Tucker always delivers solid stories full of rich characters, complicated (but believable) situations, and just the right amount of drama. I like how Tucker took a concept that often turns into a stereotypical trope and made something that feels realistic and believable instead of stretching reality to fit the readers’ imaginations.

Our thoughts...
It has been a while since I have read a book that stays with
me days after finishing it. I loved every minute of this story and couldn’t put
it down. K. A. Tucker sure has a way with words. This was beautifully written
unconventional love story. This is my favorite book by this author.
Cover Reveal: Seducing Lola by Jessica Prince
Title: Seducing Lola
Author: Jessica Prince
Genre: Contemporary Romantic Comedy
Publishing Date: July 18th
Synopsis:
I’ve had my fair share of bad relationships. I’ve dated liars, cheaters, shoe fetishists, and everything in between. Sure, these experiences would make any woman cynical when it comes to dipping her toe back into the dating pool, but I used my past for good and made a career out of helping other women avoid going down the same paths I had.
And I was damn good at it.
Until a random act of fate set my life on a course I’d been avoiding for years, and put me in the crosshairs of a man that made me feel things I swore to never feel again.
Now I’m in his sights and it seems like he’ll stop at nothing to seduce the hell out of me. He might hold my career in the palm of his hands, but if Grayson Lockhart thinks he can blackmail me into submission with his sexy voice and sexy hands and sexy everything, then he’s…probably right.

To believe one person can change your destiny sounds absurd. But it happened to me… twice.
Ten years ago I had no idea what I wanted out of life, until I met Hannah Michaels. She was a computer-engineering student ready to conquer the social media world, and I was smitten. Even though I knew she was taken, I had to have her.
Being the big shot that I was, I didn’t let her status stand in my way. It wasn’t long before my hands were on her thighs and my name a whisper on her lips. This smart, sexy girl inspired me to greatness, helped me grow into the kind of man I never knew I wanted to be. The man I am today.
Too bad I hadn’t grown fast enough to keep her.
Moving on wasn’t easy, but I knew I had to let her go. Eventually, I found someone to share my days and nights with, and together we had a daughter. My life was nearly perfect until my world turned upside down.
A single father has challenges, and one of those is learning how to calmly deal with your child coming home in tears. I had no idea the day I pounded on my daughter’s classmate’s door, Hannah would be the one standing on the other side.
The wild, burning desire that rushed through my veins was unwanted, and yet impossible to ignore. Letting her in meant so much more this time around. Guilt hit me like a hammer. I hated myself. I hated her. The problem was I really didn’t hate her—I wanted her more than ever.
But this time around, I can’t have her.
This time it’s my status that stands in our way—and going up against myself just might be the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

She grew up in Rochester, NY and now lives in Florida with her husband and four kids. She's always had a love for reading books and writing. Being an English major in college, she wanted to teach at the college level but that was not to be. She went on to receive an MBA and became a project manager until quitting to raise her family. Kim wears a lot of hats! Writer, book-lover, wife, soccer-mom, taxi driver, and the all around go-to person of her family. However, she always finds time to read. One of her favorite family outings was taking her kids when they were little to the bookstore or the library. Today, Kim's oldest child is seventeen and no longer goes with her on these, now rare and infrequent, outings. She finds that she doesn't need to go on them anymore because she has the greatest device ever invented--a Kindle.
Kim likes to believe in soul mates, kindred spirits, true friends, and Happily-Ever-Afters. She loves to drink champagne, listen to music, and hopes to always stay young at heart.
