Our thoughts...

Feisty ~ Chaotic ~ Calamitous

The beautiful bastard and beautiful bitch are finally back! I mean, really back. We've seen glimpses of them from time to time but they just haven't felt the same since Beautiful Bastard. It apparently takes a wedding and self-imposed celibacy to revive their spirit.

Review: The Virgin by Tiffany Reisz

Title: The Virgin (Original Sinners #7)
Author: Tiffany Reisz

Genre: Erotic Romance
Publisher: Harlequin

Pub Date: March 31, 2015
Rating: 5 Stars

Our thoughts...

Intimate ~ Enduring ~ Insightful

I finished The Saint (the previous book in the series) feeling like I experienced the depth of Kingsley’s vulnerability and all things endearing. Then I was hit with The Virgin. Not only did I have the pleasure of reading about significant early events that shape Kingsley and Nora but was also able to connect to them on a more intimate level. We see the layers that are hidden from the world. Even some layers that were originally hidden from Søren, until now.

Review: Where Sea Meets Sky by Karina Halle

Our thoughts...

Courage ~ Adventure ~ Tenacity

Where Sea Meets Sky is a story full of adventure, uncertainty, courage, and beauty. Artist Josh Miles throws caution to the wind to follow his heart and free his soul. Gemma Henare is simultaneously searching for herself and running away from life. The primary setting is in New Zealand and it becomes clear early on that Halle knows her way around the country. The scenes are described in great detail and from what feels like an artist’s perspective befitting Josh and Gemma both.
