This was my first book by this author and it won’t be last. I love a good sports romance and that’s just what this was.

I have been a huge fan of S.C. Stephens since the Thoughtless series. Although this started out slow for me I’m so glad I stuck with it. I couldn’t read fast enough to see what was going to happen next.

Say Anything: Netflix and Chill by Anjee

Let’s talk about Netflix for a minute. I know a ton of people who have given into the enticing subscription service and surrendered their cable. I for one still have both because let’s face it I need The Walking Dead in my life and GoT. HA!  There have been quite a few great shows on Netflix in my opinion. I will talk about them briefly. This post will not be about books today folks, sorry. I sometimes think it is good to put our minds towards other forms of entertainment, but no worries we can talk about books anytime!

The Fall-(Netflix Original)
Hello Jamie Dornan! Did I mention Jamie Dornan? Ah yes, that handsome Irish dude that IS in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, here he is a complete sociopath in this one. It’s nothing like you would expect from such a handsome devil. His acting is superb in this thriller. Even better we have the actress from the X-Files Gillian Anderson trying to track him down for crimes he possibly committed. They make a great duo! I will be sad to see this one come to an end this Fall -> hehe yeah I did that on purpose ;) My rating 5 stars.

Orange is the new black- (Netflix Original)
Not only is this storyline hilarious it gives us a glimpse at what life would be like in an all women prison. It’s packed full of drama and scenarios surrounding the daily lives of everyone involved, how they got there and what they are like deep down inside. I have yet to watch the latest season, but I am sure it will live up to my expectations. My rating: 4 stars.

Gossip Girl- (CW) I had no interest in watching this until I stumbled upon someone that called himself “Chuck Bass.”
I’m currently at the end of season 3 and have watched the growth of Serena Van Der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Dan Humphrey and his annoying sister Jenny, Nate Archibald, and my favorite of the series Chuck Bass. I would recommend watching GG for him alone. He is a major ass in the beginning, but man does he grow on you. It takes time to watch this series as there are 24 episodes in every season, and they all start to run in circles, but if you don’t mind watching this a couple of episodes at a time, it’s not too bad. I binged the first season, though! My rating: 4 stars. P.S. (rumor has it a certain book character was modeled after Blair Waldorf. Any takers on guessing?) :)

Bloodline-(Netflix Original)
This one is very intriguing as we follow the drama of a family caught up in lots of secrets, and *gasp* murder. Shady shit going down with this family right here folks. Move over The Rayburns are in town!  My husband particularly likes this one. It’s currently in the second season, and so far so good. My rating: 4 stars.

The 100-(CW)
I started this last summer 15’ I am a sci-fi geek by heart, so this one had me at hello with both it and the dystopian theme mixed. One of the few shows I purged till I caught up. I even went and bought the new season on Amazon Prime, so I didn’t have to watch commercials. I'm also hoping for the ultimate Bellarke hook up. That is what I call addicted. My rating: 5 stars.

Stranger Things-(Netflix Original)
I just finished this one up. Again a sci-fi paranormal element to this show. I loved having all age groups in this show, and lets face it Winona Ryder is the shit! Rarely do we find mystery like this with everyone involved. It’s only one season in so far, and the ending had me asking questions. Apparently, if you are a Stephen King fan rumor has it he is writing the second season. Hopefully, we will be able to pick up on a few more things about the ending. My rating: 5 stars

Peaky Blinders-(Netflix Original)
This show is life. This is probably one of my ultimate favorites out of all the shows on there so far. It’s about Gangsters living in Birmingham England back in the 1920’s. Cillian Murphy fucking kills it on screen, as well as all the other actors. It’s mesmerizing to watch. If you loved The Soprano’s, you would love this story line. And did I mention Tom Hardy is in it?
Yeah for all you lovers of all things Tom Hardy. My rating: 5+ stars.

I am sure there are more that are purge worthy, but I haven’t found time to watch them all yet. I have watched a few, but not worth mentioning to me.  I do watch a few shows on television (obviously) still. I will save that for another post someday. What are your current favorite Netflix shows? Am I missing any purge worthy ones?  Let me know here or Social Media if I am missing out on any!

Till next time.
