Our thoughts...
Intense  ~ Strong ~ Longing

Release Me is book number two in the Chasing Fire series.  I was captivated by Alessandra and Hudson’s story from the first book, Remind Me.  Hudson and Alessandra story isn’t full of romantic fairytales, it’s about two people who come from two different worlds that now have to exist in the same world.  The two of them have a deep love for each other, I would even call them soul mates.

However, their history together has created an endless amount of crap they have to wade through.  There isn’t a moment you question their love for each other, you question if you think they’ll be able to find their “home” together. Which is a very different twist than the regular love story.  Hudson reminded me a lot of Gideon Cross, I hate to compare characters, but he could pretty much be Gideon’s brother. Alessandra is strong, smart, and makes no excuses for who she is, which you know- I just love!

Alessandra and Hudson’s story is just one aspect of a much bigger situation that is taking place in each book. I would recommend this book to someone who enjoys a series that serves a purpose.
