Our thoughts...

Judgment~ Love~ Second Chances

Adriana did it again with Sacrifice; she kept me on the edge of my seat, flipping pages as fast as I could. I read this book in a day. I needed to know how this story ended and whether or not I need to start a witch hunt for Adriana. This book has it all; alpha male, swoon worthy tenderness and some fantastic love scenes, as if that isn’t enough toss in an adorable little girl.  I had the honor to message chat with her prior to receiving this book and she was nervous, I have no clue why. I had gotten a glimpse of what she thought about doing with this book, but what she ending up doing with the story was perfect.
We meet the main characters (Julia and Crew and Ever) near the anniversary of Crew’s brother’s death.  Julia was married to Gage, Crew’s older brother and they have a beautiful little girl Everleigh. Gage died two years ago in a car accident on his way to pick up Crew who had gotten himself into trouble.  Julia and Crew have a history of their own as well. Needless to say there are a lot of hard feelings between Crew and Julia and a lot of love.

When tragedy strikes again, Crew vows to do whatever it takes to save his family, the only family he has left; Julia and Ever. He will risk his own life to save them.  Julia doesn’t want to rely on Crew, he’s the reason for all her problems to begin with, but what happens when he is the only one who can save them.

I loved watching Crew “man up” and Julia learning that it was ok to live and love again. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat.  I guarantee you will be yelling at your Kindle a couple of times, I know I did. #sCREWed
