Our thoughts...
Witty ~ Sexy ~ Strong

Emma Chase is the author, do I really need to say anything else?

Ok, for those of you who have a TBR list a mile long and want to know why you should stop your current book and read Sustained ASAP, this review’s for you!
Sustained is book number two in The Legal Briefs Series, you don’t have to read book number one (Overruled) to read this one, but you’re truly missing out if you haven’t read Overruled. Sustained is Jake’s story, Jake is everything you would want in a guy, he’s sexy, charming, and more importantly smart (he’s an attorney).  Well, his world gets shaken when he takes on a pro bono case, which is something he normally wouldn’t do. Only a smart and sexy women could get him to agree to do something like that…. in enters, Chelsea.

The thing I loved most about this book were the six children Chelsea had to adopt, the six children are actually her nieces and nephews.  As you can see this isn’t the normal man falls in love with women story. No, it’s a guy and a girl who are both into each other but they have six fun and crazy children around them all the time. It’s really a book that is focused on love, doing the right thing, but also family. On top of that, Emma Chase brings her normal wit and humor to every single page of the book.

This is the perfect book to read as we get ready to leave summer in the dust and welcome winter with open arms.  I live in Florida, so I welcome winter.
