Our thoughts...

I absolutely loved the first book in this series! Kate Stewart hit the ball out of the park with this as well. I love when an author can give you two books in the series that blow you away.

Alice has been wanting to set up Andy with April but he would never let her. As it gets closer to Alice and Rafe’s wedding the two spend more time together. With them being the best man and maid of honor they end up helping out the couple more while Rafe is away for baseball.

Andy who now spends most of his time running his bar and brewing beer is starting to miss baseball. When he decides to still be involved in the sport he loves but in a different way. April is a 911 dispatcher and never knows what she’s going to hear when she answers the phone. She is a loving person who loves what she does and puts her family first.

When Andy finally got up the nerve to peruse April he told her it wouldn’t be anything serious. At the time that was fine with both of them but the more they were together you could feel the pull between them. The build up to their relationship was sweet and at times funny. If your looking for a good read that will make you laugh and melt all at once this for you. I absolutely love this series and was sad when the book ended.
