I couldn’t Say is a second chance at love with a
unique twist. Not only do we have best friends that turn into lovers, their
connection goes beyond that. The way that Tucker goes-about to get his girl
back is a breath of fresh air in today’s book world. This story is sweet and
filled with tons of love. The family dynamic is this book is beautiful, honest
and real.
One of my favorite things in a story is strong
determined characters. I hate when they flip back and forth. Let me just say that Ava and Tucker are some
of the most steadfast characters that I have read in awhile.
At times I felt that Tucker was too hard on Ava. I
mean he put in all this work to get her back only to hold back at time. I
understand why but at the same time I was like come on buddy! Ava knew what she
wanted and she stuck to it, she didn’t let Tucker fear stop her. If anything it
made her more determined.
If you are looking for a sweet, low drama second
chance at love story this is your book.
