Our thoughts...

This is my first time reading a book by Ilsa Madden-Mills and it won’t be my last. Fake Fiancée was fast paced and funny.

Her characters were a breath of fresh air. I will be the first to admit that the cover wasn’t my favorite but you learn why she chose this image in the book.  The reason behind that will make you fall in love with the cover.

This is about Sunny and Max they are both college students that come from completely different backgrounds yet they share one significant encounter that happened years ago. Sunny wants to graduate college and move on with her life while Max wants to succeed in football; he’s tired of the groupies who want something from him. When an angry Sunny appears on his doorstep following a mishap with one of his pesky jersey chasers all things change.

She knows who he is from their first encounter though it takes Max awhile to figure it out. That being said, he knows there is something special between them, he feels their connection. He just doesn’t believe that there is room for two loves in his life right now.

This is a story about love, finding your soul mate and finding the balance in life to have everything that you want when you think you can’t.
