Our thoughts...

This is one of my favorite books by this author. This book had so many elements I love rolled into one book. Who doesn’t love an office romance that’s forbidden? I loved everything about this book from chemistry build up to the momentum of the story.

Jackie is a single mom and has been through a lot since she left home. She has become a stronger person by surviving an abusive relationship and doing what she needed to take care of her son. Jackie and her son Ty move home to live with her parents. She is ready for a fresh start and going to work for her father’s company is just what she needs. She is the assistant to her father’s partner Will and hasn’t seen him in years.

Will is recently divorced and now back in his hometown.  Needing to get away from the LA office he worked at with his ex he is back in Vancouver. His partner insisted he have an assistant and it would be his daughter. He had no clue what to expect since last time he saw Jackie she was just a kid. Now he can’t keep his off eyes off her.

I loved these two characters; they have both been hurt and learning how to rise from it. Jackie is trying to get her life back and Will is trying to open his heart again. This was perfection in every way and I couldn’t put it down. This is a MUST read!!
