Our thoughts...

This was such a fun quick read. I am a fan of Helena Hunting. When I read the blurb this I was so excited to get my hands on it. I mean look at that cover! I am glad to report the book was as good as the cover.

Ruby is determined to make her dream of acting come true and do it on her own terms. Walking away from her father’s finical help she’s got to land a role in her audition. She is leaving her friend’s engagement party early to get home and prepare for her audition the next day. Everything is riding on her getting cast.

Bane is Armstrong’s cousin and use to be a rugby player.  He has the perfect solution for Ruby, move into his apartment to take care of his pets while he’s gone. It’s the perfect solution for them both, that is until their unlikely friendship starts to form into something else. There is so much sexual tension between these two.

I loved the slow build of these characters and their relationship. This was full of humor that had me laughing. If your looking for a light hearted, laugh out loud romance this is for you.
