This is the first time I have read a book by Kennedy Ryan and she blew me away! I can’t wait to read more of her work. Her writing style and the way she tells a story is brilliant. This book was full or angst and emotion. The connection between these two characters is intense.

These two meet one night at a bar the night before August’s big game. They connected on a level neither have before. You could feel the pull between the two of them. She was dating one of August’s arch enemies on the basketball court.  As the years go by the one night they had together has them wondering what if. Their connection is strong even after all the years.

This love story broke my heart and had me in tears at times. Touching on a tough subject this story was beautifully written. This is a must read and highly recommend it.
