I love a good sports romance book and Ilsa Madden-Mills delivered! Who doesn’t love when a hot jock and a nerd fall for each other?
Maverick and Delaney met at a bonfire freshman year of college. He’s the hot football player all the girls want. Delaney is a nerd and isn’t your typical college girl. She wears creative clothes that most wouldn’t wear. That doesn’t stop her from being herself.
After coming off a break up from her football player boyfriend she has sworn off football players. She never thought she had a chance with the all allusive Maverick. Delaney hasn’t looked his way since the bonfire years ago. One day that all changes and they can’t stop looking at each other. Maverick isn’t your typical cocky football player. He has lots of personal things going on as well demons he fighting. These two try hard to fight the chemistry between them.
These two characters were so fun and I enjoyed watching their story unfold.
