Our thoughts...
I’ll admit that I haven’t read many of Meghan Quinn’s book,
but this is my favorite one!
It a slow burn without being too slow. It’s an incredible
ride through the life Colby Brooks covering all the ups and downs of love, loss,
dreams and sacrifices.
Rory is tenacious in her pursuit of Colby, she’s not
going to give up until she learns all his secrets; let me say that his secrets
will break your heart and show you the kind of man he truly is (Amazing). Rory can
empathize with Colby on many levels as she’s given up on a dream or two in the
name of love and family.
The ending of The
Upside of Falling left me with my jaw on the floor, screaming ‘NO’ and trying
to figure out what will happen next.
THE DOWNSIDE OF LOVE –
July 5th
This isn’t a story
about a love triangle. There is no triangle involved.
This isn’t a story
about an accidental pregnancy. Although having a baby with her . . . I would.
This isn’t a story
about lies and deception, even though at times I’ve lied to myself.
No, this is my story.
A story about
sacrifice.
A story about a man
who fell in love with the wrong girl.
A story I wish I never
had to tell.
This is a story about
the true meaning of the downside of love.
