Score!! Another new-to-me author that was fabulous. I
will admit that I’m usually not a YA reader. I require a bit more spice in my
books but Fake It ‘Til You Break It was a slow burn chalked full of
angst, drama and chemistry.
Nico is the star football player in his senior year.
He seems to have everything that he could ever want; sport accolades, girls and
money. He’s incredibly quiet and carries the weight of the world on his
shoulders. He can be the life of the party until Demi walks in.
Demi is the class valedictorian and star dancer on her
high school dance team. She’s a hard worker but will let loose when the time is
right. She too feels the pressure for success and the need for approval. She decided
her senior year she was going to make a move on the guy she’s wanted for years,
Alex. She wants the best senior experience.
Demi doesn’t get the chance to make a move for Alex because
Nico has a surefire plan that will get Alex to notice her. Little does she know
Nico has his own plan… And that my friends is where the fun begins with this
book!!
