Carried Away was such a good read that kept me up late at night. This is only the second book I have read by this author and it won’t be the last. The cover is gorgeous and one of the reasons I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book.
Carrie is a reporter who loves being a journalist. She is going back home after being fired from her job. Things don’t quite go as planned on her way back home. She ends up losing control of her car in a snowstorm, thankfully she was rescued. It takes a while for Carrie and Jake to get along. He is trying to stay off the grid, he’s an ex hockey player haunted by his past.
I couldn’t get enough of Carrie and Jake’s story. This was a fast paced read that I devoured and couldn’t put down.
