Oh, how I love the Carters! Behind the Plate was everything I was hoping it would be. I loved getting to know Chance and see more of his family. I always loved Jack and Cassie, but I love them even more now. They are great parents who are loving and supportive. 

Chance was never one to let anything sidetrack him from his dream of becoming a professional baseball player. Nothing has distracted until he meets Danika, she nothing like the other girls he has ever met. There is something about her that pulls him to her. 

Danika is in a dead end relationship that she is trying to get back on track. Things get harder the more time she spends with Chance. These two have this chemistry and pull toward one another. The only problem is they can’t be together because Danika has a boyfriend. 

What a journey this was. I am loving The Boys of Baseball series. I can’t wait for the next book, this is a must read!
