I love L.J. Shen's writing. Big surprise, right!. But this book was different for me. A slow burn, that will have you laughing and crying sometimes at the same time. West and Grace hit something deep inside me that hasn’t been touched in awhile.
This is a story of strength, perseverance,acceptance, forgiveness and willingness to take a chance when you know you may get burned.
West and Grace are both so beautifully broken, living their own tragedy. My heart hurt for Grace, her struggles and need to be unseen. West has mastered the art of aloofness.
