Five stars are not enough! I absolutely loved this book. I could not turn the
pages fast enough. Now that I finished, I’m sad and doing a re-read.
This storyline!!!
The mystery, intrigue, forbidden romance
all mixed together with a touch of magic, both the light and dark kind. A mix
of gothic, folklore and magic. I hope Ms. Contreras continues to more story
like this.
The families and the island histories are woven together
like a fine and delicate sweater, you pull one string and the whole thing can unravel.
I truly enjoyed this story and really (PLEASE) write more!!! I can think of a
few supporting characters that I would love to see have their own book… Also, I’d
love to see more or Penelope!!
