Alta Hensley is a new to me author. I will say that she brings the steam and a whole lot of it with her words.
I need book 2. I was hooked from the beginning however not a lot happens in King of Spades other than falling for Nick. He is possessive, dominate and crazy. Why he steps in to help Lyriope is still somewhat unknown. All know is that I want him to keep her.
Lyriope is fisty and has a knack for getting herself into trouble. She smart and beautiful and a ba**ard child of a powerful mafia leader. As much as she wants to fight her connection to Nick she cannot.
I am looking forward to reading more.
