Our thoughts...
I loved this book. Mia has a way of writing characters that you love to hate. You'll hate them with a passion. She can also make you fall so in love with them.
I have a love hate relationship with Blaire. Yes, she had a messed up childhood, but not as bad as some. What she is missing is LOVE and RESPECT for herself. I loved the fact that she knows who she is and she’s cool with that. She makes minimal excuses for her behavior, other than she doesn’t deserve love. I feel that Blaire could truly love Ronan. I think she can almost envision herself in his life and with his family. Her biggest fear is that she doesn't deserve love. Is she willing to change her ways for a shot at love?
Now the men in Blaire’s life, WOW. I want them both.
Ronan: loving, down to earth. He knows Blaire’s lifestyle, but doesn’t seem to care. He wants her for her. I feel he’s to good for Blaire. Can she can change, if so does that than make her deserving of a man like Ronan? How does he know Law? Why is he working for Law? As much as I love Ronan, I feel he has secrets and some bigs one.
Lawrence: sexy, hot, rich. He can offer Blaire the things that she wants, but not what she needs. I think he has a hidden agenda when it comes to his involvement with Blaire. I think that Law is tied to Blaire's past somehow. That is going to dial up the angst factor in book 2. I also think that Law, actually like Blaire and I'm not sure if that's a good thing. I want to dislike him, but I think he’s going to win a lot of #TeamRonan fans over in the next book.
Steamy, hot and angst filled. Mia will leave your head spinning and you crying for book 2. What team will you choose #TeamRonan, #TeamLaw, #TeamBlaire or #TeamTorn. I will remain #TeamMia
"But here's the thing...as horrible as it sounds, I wouldn't give him the time of day if I knew he was broke and a nobody. I may not believe in love, but I do believe in practicality and goals. I don't want to live comfortably--I want luxury. I want an easy life. And a broke guy would never be able to offer all those expensive things to me."-Blaire

“I don’t want perfect-I don’t need it, I just want you.” -Ronan
