Our thoughts...

Consuming ~ Sadness ~ Joy

Those are the things that kept me plugged into The Shadows no matter how hard I tried to walk away. I admit this is a tough read. I stayed away from spoilers because I knew this was going to be too much. I have to say that this was probably one of the best writing jobs I have ever read from the likes of Ward.

I won’t go into too much detail about the whole book because, let’s face it, it’s well over five hundred pages! The basic outline is surrounded around the shadow Trez and his beloved Selena. This story is a beautiful and poignant love story. We ride the joy and the sorrow throughout the book. I learned that this awesome family of the brotherhood will do anything for one’s they take in and call their own, including the two shadows iAM and Trez.  We still get snippets from the brothers, and quite a bit of narration from Hollywood, which I am still a little unsure of because something is definitely happening there. I guess we will find out in the next book or two of if it is relevant at all. I can’t wait to see more of Xcor and Layla or Assail to find out that Sola has been kidnapped, because he thinks she left him. There is a new forelesser in town and let’s just say I stayed away from all spoilers, and you should too. Let this book be the guide to your emotions on how you feel, and what it brings you. I feel that people who spoil it for themselves won’t understand it as a whole.

5 totally-worth-it stars.
