Our thoughts...

I’ve been in love with this series from the very start, reading the last book in the was hard for me. I’ve said this from my first review and I’ll say it again, this series is like a mafia soap opera minus all the stupid drama.

I feel like this series could have gone on forever and I would have read it forever. This should be a testament to McAvoy’s storytelling abilities. J.J. McAvoy intertwined multiple characters, situations, and family dynamics all into one FANTASTIC and dynamic story.

The use of famous quotes at the start of each chapter also speaks to the depth of  each chapter. I’ve never read a book that uses quotes the way J.J. does. Each quote gave you some small insight into the overall theme behind each chapter. I looked forward to the quotes almost as much as I looked forward to the next chapter.

The last book in the series is one of the best ones, I honestly can’t pick a favorite.  The last book is about SO MUCH, from love, healing, death, pain, happiness….

READ IT!
