This book has it all; one cocky
lawyer who is rumored to be the office whore but really has a heart of gold , another very sexy, smart, driven and feisty lawyer
who is afraid to end up in the office rumor mill and the crazy matchmaker client that brought
it all together.
This book had me laughing out loud all while
swooning over Max’s romantic cheesiness. Not only is Max sexy as hell he is caring,
compassionate, he knows what is important in life and has no issues putting
those things first.
Chloe knows she is missing something in her life.
However the fear of ending up in the same situation as her mother prevents her
from living life. Having to work a case with her office enemy; Max Davis for
the famous Suzie Steel exercise guru, turns out to be an eye opener for Chloe.
Add a meddlesome client who has an eye for the
sexual tension between these two as well as adding her own sexual innuendos
into their conversations. Suzie has no
problem what so ever pushing Max and Chloe together. It does help that Chloe’s
boss has been pushing her to live her life and not end up like him.
