Our thoughts...
Nicole Jacquelyn has done it a again! She made me feel everything in these characters. I literally wanted to strangle them one minute and then hug them the next.
We know from book one (different couple) that Ani and Bram do not see eye to eye...ever.
They are both strong willed characters that hide their lust for each other with snark and attitude. They can not be in the same room without going at each other's throats. Of course that means that when they finally collide, the explosion was going to be huge and it was!
At the surface, this book is a enemies to lovers book. When you delve deeper you see that they were only enemies because life and circumstances got in the way. The real game changed when they decided to flip life the middle finger and give into their feelings.
Though I didn't feel emotions as deep as I did in book 1, I think it's mainly just because Bram wasn't as big of an asshole as the male lead in book 1. He did have his moment's but I understood them a bit better.
Pick this one up, people! It's a rollercoaster that you need.
