Kim Karr has a way with words. This book had it all from
witty comments to steamy and sweet moments.
Maggie marches to her own beat and doesn’t care what people
think of her. She dresses how she wants and is as sassy as it comes. Maggie
loves to be in control and doesn’t believe in love. She likes to live in the
moment. When she’s at a New Year’s Eve party and spots Keen, its lust at first
sight. When she finds out not only is he
Brooklyn’s brother but Cam’s best friend that changes things.
Keen is cocky and good looking and use to getting what he
wants. Only the woman he has eyes for at the New Year’s party came with his
brother. They live in two different states and anything between these two would
be hard.
I really enjoyed Maggie and Keen’s story. The chemistry
between the two was sizzling right off the pages. Will these two get their acts
together and make it work? I loved the main characters and the secondary characters
and am looking forward to the next book.
