Jewels, think The Royal Family meets Kardashians. This
story is fun and fast and low drama.
Prince Liam is a playboy. Well accept for Lucy
Rhodes; he has had a crush on her for years. When a chance encounter ends with
them in bed. His wild ways will be tested. He generally doesn't do a repeat with woman, but he can't get Lucy out of his head.
Lucy Rhodes is a celebrity of her own. She is one of
the Rhodes Sisters on the TV show The Rhodes of Concord. She is a celebrity all
by herself. She doesn’t need a hook up with a Prince to get her 5 min of fame.
Fast forward a few weeks to the positive pregnancy
test. This is where I have some issues with the story. Lucy is cleaning a cat’s
litter box, which is a BIG no- no when pregnant. I feel like everyone should
know that. When Lucy tells Liam that she is pregnant, there is no real
questioning of paternity- hello we are talking about a future King here.
Someone would have something to say.
This story was a fun, fast read. I was hoping for a
bit more drama. There are some editing
issues and at times confusing. I would need to go back and re-read a paragraph.
I feel that should have been corrected in the beta stage or editing. Even once
ARCs had gone, but they were released to close to the publish date to make any
changes.
