Our thoughts...

The blurb isn’t enough of a warning. Written in the scars is one emotionally charged read. Ty and Elin’s story is so heartbreaking real. Just when you start to believe that Ty and Elin and going to get everything worked out Mrs. Locke knocks you down again.

This is a second chance at love (sort of), life and realizing what is important. What you do does make a difference. Actions speak louder than words after all. Family isn’t always blood but who you surround yourself with. Make the time; let people know that they matter to you. You never know if you will have a second chance.

Elin and Ty are struggling to fix their marriage. Right some wrongs that they have committed. Fighting the decision to walk away from their marriage; away from their soul mate, all while loving each other with so much strength. Both Ty and E are strong, stubborn and fiercely loyal.

This was Elin and Ty’s story but my favorite character is Cord. He stole my heart from the very beginning, while Ty and E are at odd Cord is the voice of reason from them. He see’s through their BS and calls them on it. I love him.

Seriously, this story is so real and raw. These characters could be your best friend, your brother, sister or even you. Read it! I recommend that you don’t read the last 25% in public, unless you are OK with being a blubbering crying mess.
