Our thoughts...

LOVED this book! This will pull at your heartstrings and put you back together piece by piece.  Absolutely amazing, one of my top reads for the year.

Staci Hart is one of those authors that pulls you in from page one and you don’t want it to end. This is so different from her other books and the writing is phenomenal. This is the kind of writing I crave and I couldn’t get enough.

Life isn’t always perfect and we have struggles along the way. Elliott and Wade are no strangers to this.  Wade is so stubborn and thinks he doesn’t deserve certain things. His life has been hard for him since he left home being at war and missing his family. He is scared of rejection and will do anything to not have to face it.

Elliott has the biggest heart and wears it on her sleeve. Her family life isn’t the greatest they don’t treat her like part of the family. She is their doormat and they only speak to her when the need something. Elliott finds comfort in her best friends family.

There were times I wanted to shake these two characters and make them realize what was right in front of them. In their own time they grew to the person they’re meant to be. I loved seeing them grow and learn to trust in one another again. This was an amazing, emotional story that will stay with me for a while.
