Our thoughts...

When I tell you this book was hot, I mean it was HOT. Like needing to fan yourself hot. I wasn't expecting that going in.

Michelle is a survivor running away form her past. She appears to not take life too seriously and wears her attitude like a shield. Her job as a 911 dispatcher puts her right in the thick of things in a hot Charleston, SC that has tensions at a all time high.

Rowdy is a police sergeant that knows her can't touch Michelle. Mixing business with pleasure is never a good idea. He's a moody bastard that has a past that has made him that way.

My biggest pro about this book is the obvious chemistry of the two main characters. It jumps off the page at you. When they were on they were on.

I think that the biggest reason I can't give this one 5 stars is Michelle. I had a hard time connecting with her. One moment she's serious and then the next she's saying something that is kinda immature. She gave me a bit of whiplash.

This one is hot and angsty. Kate Stewart continues to be one of my favorite author's that I've discovered this year.
