Our thoughts...
This was a slow read for me but I still really enjoyed it. Something
about love that is forbidden pulls me in.
Layla is in college and trying to over come some things from
her past. She is trying to learn to forgive herself and move forward. Always
feeling alone and having no one she can turn to, she finally makes friends.
Thomas is a poetry professor and has demons of his own. It
seems no matter what he does he can’t figure out how to make his wife happy. He’s
so in love with her he would do anything to make her happy. Thomas never
expected to find comfort in one of his students.
These two characters had so much to work through. When they
were together life was easier. If your looking for a slow burn and finding love
in the wrong place this is for you. Saffron A. Kent wrote a beautiful
heartbreaking story.
